I burned out cluster lights today
Well I guess it was a day of success and failure. I got my cd deck and subs all wired up and they sound good. while I had my dash apart I figured it was a good opportunity to *fix* my burnt out climate control light bulb with a random LED i had sitting on the work bench=first mistake. I bent the contact wires to fit the plug, put er in, turned on my headlights=second mistake.
My gauge cluster lights flickered once then went out. now they don't work at all. checked for fuses and that good stuff. nothing was burnt. I got sick of messing with it so I didn't take the cluster out and look at the bulbs yet. do you think i just burned out all my other lights or is there some other switch/component I could have burned on that circuit
? anybody have a link to a GOOD wiring diagram?

About the dim spots,,, there are different bulbs you can get that minimize that. I know its probably not as bad as it looks in the pictures but I have seen some that are damn near a perfect spread. Search around here there are a few threads about this.
