Question How are the dome light wires ran?

What path do the wires for the dome light (on the roof) on a 1g runner run? Mine has never worked, and I've checked the bulb (which is fine), so I figure I've either blown a fuse (which fuse would that be anyways?), or a break in the wire has occured, or it simply got unplugged. Any ideas?

Behind the A-pillar trim, driver's side.
Any power at the dome light (should be constant on one wire)?
The other wire is grounded via the door switch to turn the light on.

Hmm. Guess thats my problem then. I have no a-pillar trim, and there aint no wires taped to the metal lol... But I did unscrew the light fixture, and the wire is ran, so I guess it's just hangin around somewhere above my roof vinel. How would I go about re-wiring it? Just ground, and run the other straight to the battery, or better to tap into an acc. or...?

Just outta curiosity, are both dome lights ran behind the a-pillar trim? Cause the one I'm more concerned about it the light closer to the back (couple of inches before the removable top starts, not the one right above the rear view mirror).

Should be the same wires, one is constant 12 volts (assuming you want the dome light to work with the keys out of the ignition). Wires should be inside the a-pillar formed steel piece, look inside the holes there and see if they is visible.
