HID's COULD fit in there. Get the H3 mini HID set up. they fit in alot of aux lights like offroad spot lights. You technically could fit them in your fogs. But some fabrication would be needed. If you keep them aimed down enough, they will still output for your and not blind people. Just got to get the angle right. Unfortunately Halogen bulbs are your cheapest choice. Just dont go with colored bulbs. Yes they look better and put out different colors, but they will decrease your usable light.

But in a H4 conversion, thats all you have is 1 bulb. Unless your adding high beams somewhere else?

mini h3 hid's are the bulb styles. i was talking bout putting the H3 minis in the fogs since you said they are brighter than your headlights. But hell yea, save the money for another truck. Can never have to many of those lol

Some fog lights use white light in a wide spread pattern instead of yellow in a wide spread pattern not sure of the effectiveness of the different colours though.

Most European and JDM spec vehicles are required to have at least one (and sometimes two) rear (red) "foglight(s)" usually mounted low on the vehicle [either in or below the bumper] to improve vehicle visibility in poor weather. This is why you see pics of euro or JDM Surfs with tail lights in the bumpers.
CDUFF77 usually has at least one rear fog from a Civic in his eBay auctions at all times. see drfakoo's thread about his Fatmouse Offroad rear bumpers he mentions fitting the rear fog lights in the bumper.

IMO these things are a great idea that one day the DOT will mandate. Personally speaking I plan to add them one day soon.

the yellow doesnt reflect off of precipitation ( rain snow and fog). it will cut through it. White light how ever (4300k) has more visible light than the yellow (3000k) does. 4300k is the brightest you can get, the futher you move from 4300k the more light you loose. So 5000k is not as visibly bright than 4300k, but more than the 6000k. and so on and so on. So if you want the absolute brightest out there, 4300k is the way to go. But for fog usage, the 3000k is best functional wise for that application.

well the only reason im putting the 3.slow in it is cause i have a perfectly running one sitting in my other truck, with tranny and harness. everything i need. Unless i find a 22re for the right price. I located a couple but the weather is not in my favor right now, and i dont have a garage. by the time the weather gets good im sure they will be gone.

when you guys are talking about s2000 and TSX, are you talking about the Honda and the Acura? The actual projectors made for those cars? Or is that just the name of them?

I think they mean from wrecks or after market suppliers, getting them from a dealer would be expensive.
