Headlights Turn Off When Using Signal

Every once in a while my headlights will turn off and the high beam indicator will come on when using the turn signal. It is not consistent at all, sometimes it does it, sometimes it does not. For now I have been avoiding using the turn signal when ever possible while driving at night. Does this sound like a loose connection or a faulty relay?

Check the contacts in the headlight/combo switch, they may be dirty:

High beam indicator coming on says the headlight relay is still supplying power to the headlights, but if the low beam contacts in the combo switch open up, then the high beam indicator will come on.

Are the switches fairly easy fix up?

Sorry, did not see the link in your post. I will try that this weekend and see if I can save $130, thanks.
