Fuel pump shutoff switch
I know there are many of these threads, but I have yet to find one that has information as to where I can get a hold of a fuel pump wire. If anyone knows of any spots let me know!

well I cant see anything without taking the tank out. I've done it before, and it is not fun, nor is it easy. Especially with out help, and a full tank.

according to that diagram, one should be able to place a toggle (or any kind of interrupt switch) somewhere on the ignition relay circuit, like between the ignition fuse and the main relay or between the main relay and its ground, correct? unless I don't see something, this should act as a kill switch for shutting down the fuel system in an emergency, right?

I think I'll hit one of the relay grounds with a toggle for a fuel system cutoff switch versus the power wire to the pump. physically where are these relays? ive got diagrams of my particular wiring for it all but I don't know where in the vehicle there are...i wanna say theyre either in or next to the engine-compartment fuse box

I was originally going to tap into the EFI but I could'nt figure out how to open the fuse box. It seems that if I want to put in a switch on the CO relay then I will still have to get to the bottom of the fuse box. Does anyone know how to open the damn thing?

harness for pump should run up through floor and along passesger side to a connector by the computer. On my 89 3.0 the fuel pump wire is blue. I know this cuz it broke. lift the plastick door jam plate and roll back the carpet. If you do tap in there, solder nad heat shrink it cuz it gets damp under there esp in winter ( if you live in the snow areas). Also clean up and grease that connector while you have it apart. Mike
