Fast Turn Signal

To start, I have already searched the many threads that deal with this issue but can't seem to find an answer.

All of a sudden my front left blinker on my ARB bumper has stopped working. Because of this, the rear blinker is blinking twice as fast. I have tested all of the bulbs, front and rear, and I have checked the turn fuse. Nothing seems to be bad. I then tried the emergency lights and the blinker still doesnt work. The weird thing is that the blinker has twice, randomly started working for a short period of time. I checked the bulb socket to the turn signal and it is getting only around 3-4 volts of power.

What should I check from here?

Hopefully this thread will be informative so others can use this in the future.

Thanks in advance!

Check the ground connection for the bad light. Make sure it is connected to bare steel.

I had a similar problem where my front left turn signal would blink very fast. The bulb worked, but it would just blink fast. Not knowing what else to do, I replaced the bulb and everything is fine. Don't know why. I can only guess that bulb wasn't getting a good connection. If you have a spare bulb or two, you might want to swap it out just to see. Worth a shot.

Thanks for getting back to me. I will check what ya'll recommended sometime tommorrow.

I tried swapping the bulb from the working one on the right to the left one and it still didnt work.

Does anyone know about relays and think this may be a cause?

Sorry it took so long for me to post back. I ended up undoing some of the wiring I had done and found that water had gotten into a crappy taping job I did around some connectors. I let it dry out and retaped and now it works fine. I guess I could have soldered the wires together but I didnt have time. Thanks for all the suggestions!
