Electrical Gremlins

A strange little gremlin popped up this afternoon. My stereo looses power if I turn the climate-control fan on high. It'll come back on if I turn the fan all the way off. Maybe it's not really a gremlin, since it's quite repeatable at the moment. This is a little more annoying than my other electrical issue, which started about a month ago. The right turn signal cancels the cruise control.

I can just start taking the dash apart in hopes of finding some obviously loose wires, but can any of you suggest a better approach?

It could be a loose connector or some wires that are chaffed and shorting out. Also, check your fuses and be sure they are all making good contact.

http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/index.htm may have a wiring diagram that will be useful.

The fuses were the first thing I checked; no problem there. The factory service manual's wiring diagrams will definitely be a help once I start taking things apart. Just in case someone else stumbles on this thread looking for it, the page is at http://www.ncttora.com/fsm/
