Ecu question after auto to man tranny swap.
Ok, first of all im new here. Second of all im ignorant not stupid. Thank God! But i did do something stupid. I drove my 89 2wd after an auto to man tranny swap. Needless to say, i ended up pulling the truck home and at this very moment, it wont run. I swapped from an 89 a43d auto tranny to a 93, not sure what series, manual tranny. Im figuring out that it probably wont crank largely due to me running the truck with an ecu that was programmed for an auto tranny. First question is, did i ruin my motor, ecu or both? Second question, can i just unplug the tcm pull the efi fuse to reset the ecu and drive the truck? Last is, do i need to get an ecu for a manual tranny and unpin my current wiring harness and repin a new plug for a manual ecu, or maybe reflash my current ecu to be compatible with the swap?

Just what happened that it does not run??
If it started and ran then what happened??
just what code or codes are you seeing.
just how did you jumper your neutral safety switch?? maybe that came loose.
the older engines are not so finicky as the newer ones when it comes to electronics.
Clearing the codes will not fix anything unless the problem is addressed
