i have a 1986 turbo truck that i have put a 22re into. i dont know what i should do about the wiring. the truck has an automatic tranny, but the engine, harness, and ecm are from a standard truck. so naturally the wiring does not jive.. the way i see it, i have two options. i can either modify the harness and wire the circuits that the standard tranny didnt have into the ecm. or i can install the 22rte harness and ecm back into the truck. will a turbo ecm support an N/A engine ? any help would be appreciated

 

I don't think the engine would run right with the turbo ECM since the settings (air/fuel) and others would be different.
