Daytime running lights

I recently cut the #2 wire on the d.r.l. relay to disable them. I now have the high beam indicator blinking and a clicking from under the dash while I have the parking lights on. When I switch to headlights or off it goes away. Also, If I have the headlights on for a few minutes and switch back to parking lights it goes away. Strange! Not a huge issue but would be nice to fix it.

Thanks in advance
Lou
