I recently bought a 1989 toyota pickup 4x4 5 speed and when i brought it home i found out that the blinkers dont work. im new to yota's and i have no clue where to start. i check the bulbs and they are fine and the fuses are good too. i need help !!!

 

is it the front blinkers? if so the metal plate in the sockect has lost some resitance you could get new ones or take some needle nose pliers and pull the metal piece up that connects to the bulb

 

do the hazards work?

 

I got the same problem. Blinkers just stoped working (dont blink on dash or out side) and hazards work. Checked the fuses..... All 4 wouldnt have gone out at once? What now? On a side note on my other truck the running lights arnt working and the wipers go on and off as they please. Any suggestions?

To be sure, have it checked at an auto service center. There might be loose connections.

 

I got the blinkers to work but had to sell it due to a blown motor and no money for a new motor. So now im on the hunt for another yota i shouldn've sold it.
