Angry 88 4runner rear window not rolling down =(

Ok so heres the problem two weeks or so ago i had the same problem but i fixed it with putting the correct bolt in the trip swith thing. Now the tailgate key up and down wont turn to put the window down. The relay still clicks when i use tthe swith up front but only when i push up because down of the swith isnt working for some reason. i disconnected the rear windshield wiper plug so the window operates without it and i tried plugging it back in still no result. I checked to make sure the bolt on the swith thing stayed tight and it did. So i am at a loss as what could be wrong, I'd really apprectiate some help cuz its hot here in fl without ac and only 2 windows...plus my subs hit harder with the window down. Tomorrow i might try bypassing the trip switch if i can get the rear panel out with the door closed...

ook so i did what 4crawler has on his website and soldered 4&11 and 5&12 together to bypass the safeties hoping thtad be my problem but when i put my new modified relay back on it blew my fuse #8 which is for the gauges and the window still didnt work. So im wondering if i soldered the wrong post together even though i thought i counted the wires right...i put pics on to show what i did.

the top picture is what i did and the bottom is what im wondering if thats where i was supposed to solder it.

ook so in the 5 mins since i posted that i looked at the relay wires and realized that i did indeeed count wrong so hopefully the fuses that i blew and replaced now are the only things i messed up.

soo the relay now works but my rear window still doesnt...the relay clicks on either switch going up but not down. The rear switch doesnt even turn to go down but if i try to go up it will. So im not sure what else can be wrong so next weekend when the yard is open again ill pick up a new power window motor, some relays and some switches for the front just in case that goes out at some point.

Your relay is in much better shape than mine was in lol. Somehow water got into mine and corroded everything..figured it out when i pulled the tailgate down and the window rolled all the way out by itself!

Cleaned it up, replaced the bad resistors and resoldered everything and covered it completely with hot glue so it wouldn't happen again. Works like buttah!

there is also a sensor on each latch. if anything prevents them from latching all the way, or if the ring they latch to is worn down that could be your problem.
