I checked Roger's site, and found that if I have someone push down on my rear wiper, my window will roll down. I've been trying to adjust it's position so it will pop up on the top, with no success.

Is the safety switch in the wiper motor, or in the linkage?

Not sure where the switch is, seems to be built into the motor assembly. You could just modify the connector to bypass the switch, or modify the parking ramp to make it work better:
