where is the Intake Air Temperature sensor located on my 89 22re runner?

my IAT died, theres no replacing that alone is there? id have to just replace the AFM?

 

Well if the IAT itself is dead then likely the whole AFM needs to be replaced (used ones are not that expensive). Might just be a bad terminal in the connector or a broken wire someplace. Check out the resistance readings and go from there.
