1999 4Runner SR5 Backlight Problems

So today the panel backlights on my '99 4Runner all went out at once. Because they all went out at once, I think it's probably an issue with a fuse not the light bulbs themselves. Does anyone know where I could find a fuse box guide or have any other suggestions? I bought it used and don't have an owner's manual.
Thanks!

Panel backlights? I've got a 99- and I think an owner's manual but I'm not sure what lights you mean.

Ah....ok, stupid question first...
and you've checked the control knob (to the left of the steering wheel)?
really, that's not a stupid question if you're unfamiliar with the 4Runner or have a kid who likes to turn knobs...

yeah i checked that and restarted the car with no luck. I was just messing around in the fuse box and I guess more than anything I'm not sure which fuse actually controls those lights, assuming it is a fuse. It wasn't the one labelled gauge, but i'm not really sure which one it actually is

Looking at the annoying owner's manual-
engine compartment position 10 (bottom row of mini-fuses iirc, 3rd fuse over, 10amp)- tail lights, license plate lights, instrument panel lights.

There are several listed as gauges and meters both in the engine compartment and instrument panel.....but all have other things that would be going wrong too.

I hate electrical stuff.
