I am totally fine with the 55w bulbs that came with the kit, may go to 100w when these die, but they're fine for now.
Good to hear!

Do you know if you have the Autopals or the Diamond housings?

I have the Autopals and I think they were totally worth the cost.

Autopals. Like you said, for the cost, totally worth it. I'm sure the hellas are nicer, but the autopals are fine by me.

Autopals surely are plug & play. However, just a heads-up... I got voids (below) in beam pattern. These are with bulbs that came with the housing. May get better when I upgrade to better bulbs like Silverstars. I suggest you ask seller, no matter what brand you're buying about that possibility.

Significant improvement, huh? Yours beam pattern is more uniform. I'll wait until Autopal bulbs die then see what upgrade bulbs would do. Happy Holidays.

Definitely a more usable pattern, but the light output is no better than sealed beams

Merry Christmas!!

While true, it's still inbound. I ordered and immediately canceled (buyer's remorse pushing me to HIDs ) but the seller still shipped out and sent me this email a day later

Im sorry but it was processed and shipped the same day you ordered it.
You can return it for a refund if you need to
thank you

Yeah, I ordered and canceled at like 11 pm so I doubt it, but what can you do. I'll still install the harness and run with it for now, don't have the money to spend on anything else because I just replaced my driveshaft carrier bearing and steering rack

Good decision. With conversion harness, conversion harness with good optics, and good bubs, no need to convert to blinding (unless with proper optics) HID's. When you have extra money, use it for aux lights, instead.

light output is much brighter but the reach still isn't very good. I guess I'll save up for some driving lights

There's a set of 8" PIAA driving lights up on my local forum for $50 that I'm really tempted to jump on
