WZ14 Tranny???? please help

Hey guys has anyone ever heard of a WZ14 manual transmission I pulled it out of a 81 longbed 4x4. I have never heard of this tranny number. I looked all over the web trying to find info on it and nothing comes up. Any input on this tranny would be awsome thanks.

There is no such transmission as a WZ14 in a Toyota.

1981 Trans will be an L45 (4 speed) or L50 (5 speed)

WZ14 sounds like the interior color code. If it was a portion of the info tag that said "C/TR" then that means "Exterior Color code/Trim code" Axle and Trans codes will be listed at "A/TM"

Appreciate the inpute but I didn't get the number off the tag WZ14 is stamped directley onto the tranny housing on the drivers side up near the shifter. So I assume that isn't the tranny number? Also is there any way to determine which tranny it is I want to know what I've got before I stuff it in my 80

Also it is a 5 speed and assuming that it is the stock tranny for that year of truck is the L50 a good tranny to bolt onto my 80 or is there a better option for a direct bolt on no adapter install.

It will bolt in if you include the drivelines and shifter.
