My friend and I have an ongoing joke for the last 10 years. We think all Toyotas that belong in this forum that have a chrome rear bumper, come stock with a dent in it. Just for kicks, I always keep an eye out. I swear, I have only seen a few that did not have even a small dent. So, does yours? Or maybe you replaced yours because it had a dent? And maybe in your travels, you could post how many you have seen with or without a dent(s)? Will anyone humor me?

 

i'll humor ya....i have yet to dent it....but if i didn't have a hitch, the bumper and tailgate would be mangled

 

I put a small dent in the passenger side corner of mine.

Just to the right of where the panels join on the passenger side.

 

Mine isn't dented, but has some stupid rust spots on it.

 

Mine has a dent. I've never paid attention, but now that you mention it, I'm going to start looking.

 

My old 93 had a couple, haven't managed to dent my new one yet, but I've only had it for 8 months.

 

Both of mine have a dents. Stock bumpers. The Epic Mobile will hopefully have some Sonoran Steel on it in April.

Dented driver's side corner after somone ran into the car while it was parked. I spent the insurance money on something else.

 

Dented, twisted, and bent to hell- that's what a bumper is for...

 

my 89 has multiple dents...

haha i have seen so many 4runners with dents. seems like everyone i look at has at least one small dent. mine has yet to be full out dented. has a few lil tweeks and at those tweeks there are small lil rust spots. no dents yet. the 86 we have has a few bigger tweeks where we had to use the bumper to jack the truck up. but i look out for dents too. pretty sweet there are other people looking out like me : )

 

it wasn't dented till I started wheeling. I wish I had put the lift in sooner & it would be fine, but nope, nice dent on pass side & the drivers side has been welded together due to rust

 

haha yeah i have a little dent in the front bumped when some jag-off backed into me, kept the 1200 dollar insurance check for something else, and the other day my g/f rear-ended my back bumper going real slow, wasnt paying attention .....so yeah my bumpers have taken a beating

 

ive got a few in back and my front is bashed in quite a bit (sister isn't the best driver)

 

wow this dent thread sure has a lot of 91''s on it.....well my 91's been chewed on each time.......hay, someone needs to make a rear bumper for the 91's with the tire carrier

 

mine had a little one when i bought it.. since then i've add a couple BIG ones

 

Put a dent in the right corner backing up the motorcycle trailer. Cut it too close, didn't pay attention... BUMP!

And like someone else pointed out -- if I didn't drive around with my tailer hitch on 24/7, I'd have a mangled bumper. Instead, I've mangled a few front bumpers instead.

 

Mines dented. I busted someone trying to hit and run me last year in the school parking lot. She acted like she want running hah.

mines not too too bad but theres a dent and its bent up a bit but i dont really care.

I told her to bring me in $300 cash within the week or i was going to report her for an attempted hit and run.

i spent that money on other stuff of course (gas, fun, girl)...too bad the girl part got me absoutely nothing.
