Anyway, when you get your new system, get all the stuff that needs to be welded done, then just shoot some rustoleum high heat black paint... probably help it last twice as long... with an annual or bi-annual repainting...

does the tailpipe not have any hangers of its own? if the tailpipe dangles freely, no wonder it cracked there, the metal became fatigued, its not because of corrosion.

thats why i like ceramic coated piping, i put an apexi world sport two on my integra, and i swear that exhaust could last forever.

Don't know how they did it on the borlas but there is a hanger for the tailpipe some installs use a clamp to hold it to the pipe so it would not be evident in the photo posted. On my custom install the hanger is welded to the pipe.

Yes, of course... it has a welded stud for the factory rubber hanger. It cracked because it rusted and it was a poor weld. They obviously don't use the same quality stainless in the pipes and welds that they do in the muffler. You can't see the hanger because the pipe is upside down. If you look closely it's there at the first bend beyond the tip.
