U Bolt Flip Kit question

U Bolt Flip Kit question
Have a chance to get a set u-bolt flip kits pretty damned cheap...but I have heard that you need to only use it with a high steer kit...any truth to this?? Looked at the front end I really don't see how a u-bolt flip kit would impact the steering with the exception of possibly the draglink...
