tranny IDing
can't seem to find any picts or info about identifying 4cyl manual trannys.
SO if you could post picts of diff trannys (with marking stamps/numbers/letters)
like where the markings are, connected bellhousing?, side or top loading,
so that we could definitively id a tranny by looking it over.
i found that up to and including 80 they are side loaders and have detachable bellhousings. i will post up picts of mine and also of a 2wd m/t later on. thanks
