Toyota SR5 Bucket seats

So I went to pick n pull with my brother ( MKtaco_98 ) today. and scored some SR5 seats out of a ext. cab toyota they're blue though... ( ehhh ) but nothing a little paint and some seat covers cant change! I'm gonna dye the plastic black and throw some black wet okles seat covers on them and they'll be as good as new! Here they are... a little on the dirty side but no rips or tears! theres a small wear mark on the driver seat. Sorry for those of you I didn't text about going! Me and my brother were just in the neighborhood and it was 4:00, they closed at 4:30 :/

definitely will I had buckets originally in my 4runner, so its not really much of a difference. Just the SR5 is the new quality hah I really cant wait to get these bad boys in the truck. the black is gonna look good, i'd say.

yeah sorry about that. Were gonna go again tomorrow sometime so i'll text/call you when we start to head down there. not sure if you have work on mondays or not. but i'll letcha know. the reason i didn't call anybody was because we had to drive past rancho and as I was driving back I decided to just stop by real quick... it was at like 4:00 and it closes at 4:30.

Hey MaK, you could also completely re dye/paint the entire seats black. There is some paint made by duplicolor that is made specifically for vinyl, fabric, and carpet. Not sure if you read my thread in the Pre 84 section where I painted my carpet. Looks excellent and I think this could work for you especially since you'd keep the stock SR5 look (not seat covers) and it would only cost around $7 assuming you only use one can but you might need two for both seats.

haha I'm just gonna cover the seats with a seat cover and dye the plastic and the knob on the side. I think it'll be much easier and less of a hassle for me that way

yeah dude, if you want my old muffler, you can have it haha. take it to andrew, and he'll only charge you 60 bucks for piping since you didn't buy a muffler. just get a cat back and a cool tip haha

Didn't get much done on the seats today. but here what I did this morning! vacuumed them... didn't change them much, they're still dirty as hell. next step is paint the plastic. and get the cloth steam cleaned! I'm hoping after the steam clean, it'll have the original bright blue color again... ( not )

That figures, you just about need to be standing there when they put a first gen 4Runner out, otherwise its just about stripped in a day. I need a rear window switch for my 86 4Runner, and what ever else that i can find that i think i can use or upgrade. I will be heading up there this saturday to check it out and see what i can find.
