Tire slashed

Just lookin for sympathy, I guess. I went in to Tractor Supply to get dog food today for about 1/2 hour and came out to a slashed tire. I understand that I live near the MotorCity, but it seems UNAMERICAN to slash someone's tire! I guess I learned my lesson that I should drive the Fjord when I go there! TGIMonday that I roll with a full size spare!

They said the cameras aim at the entrances only, I'll get over it! My tire was filleted otherwise I would think it was just trail rash or my fault. I did a hot glue job on a slice once and it held for quite a while, not a DD but it held together on the trail!

That's what I thought! I'll gladly get into a debate about trucks, women or beer! But you don't mess with any of them! I can understand the hard feelings around, though, I have even stopped wearing my TRD hat to the bar to avoid confrontation, but I'm not going to park the 4Runner! Ya know, I bought my 4Runner off of a Marine...that seems darn American to me!

I wouldn't think it has to do with what you drive. Its some Punk who doenst have respect for others peoples property that screwed with your rig. Unless you know people who have a problem with you it was probably some random person.

Someone didn't like the way i parked, so they let air out of one my tires and put gum underneath the door handles, and left a threatening note on my windshield. Some people are POS.

It pisses me off when people screw with my property, just like how most of us feel.

I would generally agree that it is just some punk SOB, but tensions have been high here lately. The UAW hall about 1/4 mile form TSC where I was, is notorious and has a big sign up warning non UAW cars about parking in their lot, I think their kin has extended it to a 1/2 mile radius!!! Oh well, they also run me off the road when riding my bicycle...its a DETROIT thing, and I probably wouldn't trade it, at least these folks have passion...even if it is reckless and ridiculous!

Yea tell me about it.

I laughed about it though cause it was pretty ridiculous. They said next time it will be a broken windshield instead of flat tires. They let 5psi out of the passenger rear tire. I laughed and let 5psi out of the driver rear so i didn't have to worry about the locker.

Just in case though.. OBA FTW!

I fully understand your frustration. My wife's Honda had ALL FOUR tires "ice-picked" a few weeks ago. The exterior cameras at the bowling alley stopped working two months before that so we had no "evidence" to after the guy that did it. And the worst thing of all is.....we know exactly who the POS was that did it. The cops were no help w/out an eye witness. He'll get his.
You got my sympathy.

I always note the tag numbers of the vehicles next to me when I go in the store if they look shadey. Sometimes they'll accidentally run over a nail...
