Has anybody put their spare on a Surco Safari Rack without purchasing the mount from Surco direct? I was thinking about putting my spare on top and just curious if anyone has any pictures or descriptions that would be helpful.

 

you could secure it on your surco by using plain ole ratcheting tie down straps. a couple in a X pattern should hold 'er steady
