Talking Thank you Mr Nut-Cooler designer guy!!

Ok, so I searched, but didn't have much luck trying to search 'vents,' 'nut cooler,' etc so figured I'd throw up a new post.

With these horrible temperatures lately, I would like to give a great big thumbs up and a big hug to the Toyota designer who came up with the brilliant idea of putting an AC vent that blows right between your legs!! Freegin' BRILLIANT! This being my first Toyota, is this a 3rd Gen 4Runner thing, or is this wonderful addition found in others as well?

It was pretty funny the other day, just driving along... wife is complaining of the heat. 'Oh?' I say, 'Feel right here..' Muah ha ha ha haa!!

Another vent I've found while I was down there looking at wires, is that on the 1st-gen 4Runners, there's a little vent "flap" on the left side of this so-called nut cooler, that you can flip open manually, and voila! You have air going down on your clutch foot!

When I saw this thread title I instantly knew what you were talking about...or so I thought.

I always tell my friends about my built in nut-cooler, but for me its the vented window. All I have to do is open the vented window, take my foot off the clutch pedal, and my knee is in the perfect position to funnel that air down to my testicular tote bag.

The A/C in my 86 is also no worky, but with that beautiful (albeit warm) shotgun of air is like a testical festival, you can't really go wrong.

The nut cooler is Definetly one of the nicer well thought out additions that just makes sense! I wonder why nobody else thinks of this?

My celica has it. Spent an afternoon at the junkyard in 100 degrees.....instead of changing out of my junkyard pants, I drove home in my boxers. The "nut-cooler" was a very welcome feature.

When I saw this thread I thought it was something about a stupidly designed nut on a transmission cooler or something and the op was being sarcastic. I've always thought of it as a nut conditioner. It's fantastic.
