T100 brake proportioning valve

After a couple years of not having a Toyota (i've driven and worked on them all my life), I just got a new 93 T100, and in the process of doing a bunch of work ran into a brake problem. I cannot get the rear brakes to bleed at all. The bleeder on the proportioning valve bleeds, but past there it stops. Unhooked it from the axle and tied it up to the frame, but no change. Does this indicate that the valve is shot? What is the simplest, fastest, and cheapest method to get back on the road temporarily very quickly? Need it for work in the AM. Tempted to bypass it, but it seems like that could just make the rear brakes lock up. Any suggestions (asap) would be most appreciated!!! Thanks for the help....
