Mine is easy, just pop a few snaps on the soft top and reach in and pull up the lock

If someone is going to break into your truck or steal it, they already know how to do it. Even if they don't know how, a brick through the window is a lot easier and quicker than the screwdriver method.

Yep, I can hear that. My old VW was broken into 3 times, first two times the vent window was smashed and as it turned out, both breakins were at night during a rain storm and then I had to spend weeks trying to dry things out inside and get rid of the mold and mildew and clean out the shattered glass fragments. 3rd time it was broken into, I had forgot to lock the door and they snatched some stuff. At least that time, there was no cleanup or glass repair to do.

While that's true, I still question the wisdom of letting the world wide web know that you have a spare key hidden somewhere in/on/under your vehicle.

I actually do keep a key taped to the back of a card in my wallet, never had to use it though.
