Ive had my share of fun in the snow this winter... got my tacoma stuck in about 4 feet of snow at 1AM, everybody with big rigs was on a trip to washington and i couldnt go because of work. Spent 2 hours that night trying to get it out, had to hike out 5 miles and hitchike to town, took my dads durango in there and that got stuck a bunch of times, spent a few hours to get that out, left the truck there overnight then came back teh next day and spent 6 hours digging and backing out...

Loads of fun in Bend OR. ;-D

Here's a few from yesterday in the Santa Fe National Forest, Cuba Ranger District - FR103

I was the trail leader. The snow was deep and it was slow going, at 10psi, stock low range, double locked, 2nd gear, I could maintain forward progress in about 3' of snow. When forward progress would stop I could back up and get more momentum to keep going. I lost the ability to move either forward or reverse only once when trying to get off the trail so somone else could get around me, a quick strap and I was moving again. The pics show about 2' of depth, but I am sitting on top of about a foot.

This was a short, but awesome trip. I was very impressed with how deep of snow I could actually traverse.
