I think that's her little incident in Steamboat ... she had to be towed up that hill... by a real tow truck - they tried getting a school bus (a short bus too!) to get them out and only made it worse

Um yeah... that snow bank was up in Steamboat in DSec of 05, when Tippy went flying off the side
Ok here is the story (you asked for it!) This was written last year:
************
Oh I think this stuck might have been better than my Moab Escalator stuck.

Ok here is what Andy wrote when I called him after getting stuck....
The real story. It's all Parthum's Fault! (Bedintheback)

On the way back from getting cigarettes at 6:00 am (No Parthum is just a FRIEND and his Girlfriend L-train was back at the ranch)..I let Parthum drive - He has a sick Taco on 37's blada blada. Just so he could see how different the runner was. We were driving around trying to find the german crack dealers house (another story) when somehow the runner just slid right off the road! (We were only in 2WD).

And then the school bus definitally made it worse.

The pics are histerical. 20 kids all trying to pitch in. Too cute. And they ate all of Brians Red Vines!

I wasn't really in danger of rolling too much because the snow was up to my sliders (4 feet!!!) And if I did roll it would have been into 4 feet of snow! So anyhow because my winch is currently being fixed *grrrrr* I had to have a tow company come and winch me out, which worked perfectly!
Hitching up

Digging out

And she's out! 6 HOURS later. God we were fareezing!

Yeah I'm at about 5400ft or so. This is in the ABQ area. We got waaay more snow since these were taken. The rock and smaller bushes are covered now.
. Its funny how they close the roads here. I'm used to driving in 12" of snow in Maine to get home from work. Anyway thank you global warming and it El Nino effects.

I got some snow for ya!
here are some pics of the snow up here in Whistler, BC...
Nov 13th:

Nov 24th:
The top of Whistler mountain (about 7000 ft)

Parking lot

and Dec 1st:

Not only do we have a lot but it's not melting either, if I had the cable for my camera I would run outside and snap a shot, it just keeps coming down... We had record breaking snowfall for Nov, and up till now we have had a cumulative snow fall of 20+ feet...
