Yotafun, i think i saw you post something about paragon for this weekend. i'd love to go , but gotta work on sat. I 'm still kind of new to the whole yota thing, i just got my first one last sept. so i don' yet know to much about TTORA yet. I will def want to make a run up to paragon soon though i hope, that should be awsome with snow.

 

We get it occasionally (elevation 3800 feet), but those pics were east of Albuquerque one spring break. This is what snow in El Paso looks like:

Got My Runner Back november or 05 so it has been a little over a year for me havin a yota, 6 months being here ont he site (due to stepdads tranny goin on his 4Runner)

We will def get up to Paragon!
Like I said If snow comes, I am callin of work, skippin class and saying "Screw You All for a Day, It's the only snow were gonna get"
(granted I don't have a test, and work isn't that long of a shift...)

don't got any snow pics, but just wondering if its a good idea to drive up my florida 4runner up north for a ski trip in a few months. it doesnt have any of that protective spray at all in the undercarriage, thats why im askin, u guys think i'll be fine without it for about 10 days?

Uhhh - yeah. My truck "survived" 12 Ohio winters - think 10 days will be OK.

All that said, be sure to run through a carwash with an underbody blaster to get the crap out from under the truck.

 

All you need to do is drive it up to georgia or alabama and run it a few times through some muddy red clay and let that dry then you are fine. I did that for 2 winters in Maine and I had little rust.(I had to go back a few times to Atlanta so I'd hit it up when I was there). Also wash the undercarraige well when you get back make sure you get all the salt and grime off of it.
