alright guys my wheel bearing on my 86 went out in the back causeing the axle shaft eject, rebuilt it with new bearings and put 85-90w gear lube in the rear end, truck has 5.29s and a detriot, now that the new gear lubes in its makeing a humming sound, not like its about to explode or anything and in 2 weeks it hasnt gotten worse, i even pulled the 3rd and checked the bearings and teeth and they were fine, the rear end orginally had 75-90w in it but as soon as i went heavier it appeared to start this humming? so tell me? could a heavier gear lube be the culprit? or am i missing something different? never made a sound with 75-90w except for locker pop, ideas?

 

It shouldn't make racket regardless of gear oil.
