Redline hood struts
just searched this but responses were somewhat old... Anyone using these? I was looking for something but didn't know how well these would work out.

I can't tell you about that specific kit, but I have had a similar one on my '90 truck for about 14 years, now, and I love them!
Installation is pretty easy, and not having to use the hood prop is wonderful, as far as I'm concerned! I do still have the prop there, in case the gas struts ever fail.
