so i changed out the contact points in my starter with the contacts from 4crawler.com. the ones that were in there originally still looked pretty brand new so im guessing the guy that i bought the truck from changed them. but since it was all ripped apart and it only cost me like 10bux i changed them out anyway. it seemed all good and fine for the past few weeks, but then it happened again on monday.

my engine did try to turn over once. but when its a little colder in the morning i have to hold the key and let it crank for about 5 seconds. on this particular morning i turned the key and accidentally let off after about a second or two. then i tried to turn the key and got nothing. just that pesky click. and it sure isnt fun to try and push a 4runner by myself.

anyone got any ideas on what it might be? i had the starter tested and it was good except for the solenoid. that was b4 i changed the contacts...???
