My trucks engine and compartment is DRITY AS BALLS and has gotten better after cleaning it with tons of diff stuff but nothin is still doing much i still got alot of baked on mud splash on almost everything and the engine still a bit oily whats the best thing to clean your MOTOR!

Soak it with a good cleaner- any in particular, then steam clean it.

Simple green and other similar products will do. Dirty as "balls" huh?

 

I've tired 4 cans of degresser+pressure spray....didn't do very good. Tried 3 cans of WD40 on entire motor didn't do much. Tried reg soap and water...nope. Tired purple power and didn't do much either.... Its still got lots of splash mud on everything and motor grease one front and block....

 

He's making his own YotaTech search engine: Scuggle, or was it Scoogle... or Scubble... I can't remember.

 

Where or how would i get my motor steam cleaned?

self serve car washes usually have em... i think...

 

yes sir everything i used i got out my trusty brush and scrubbed but no avail for the caked splash mud

 

Car wash huh.... didn't really think they did it at a car wash but i'll look

 

I use 409 Degreaser or Brake cleaner .

 

did you try any elbow grease i heard somewhere it works wonders on pretty much anything

the thick stuff is going to be manual removal a stiff brush, something to scrape with and a lil degreaser, on the really thick stuff degreaser doesnt do much because it only works on the top layer and wear some glasses you will not regret it

im confused is it an actual cleaner or for direct application to the elbow

 

I've tried scubbing on alot of the caked mud and still does not come off....the gease does come off a lil with HARD ASSSS scubbing but thought there might be somethin that can break it down...
