i was on the Aussie Yota website and here i what i came across:
08' LC 70 series (pick-up)
dual transfercases
front/rear live axles
font/rear lockers

Yes, I do think that would be the ultimate offroad Toyota.

But it doesnt have dual tcases. Says "dual range" which just means high/low.

You can build better for much less than that $80k US which is kinda rediculous.

sorry but looks like the worst 80k ever spent. even if you dont want to build something yourself you could have a shop build something better than that for less $$$.

BEST STOCK TOYOTA, price wasn't a factor. We would all build a rig given $80k, but if you had to go and get one off the lot, this is it!

Getting it with a warranty would be nice. for $80K though I would buy a nice used Unimog or a pinzgauer 712 (still fits in a normal parking spot: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnA0sj4rYjw
You could build one hell of a Toyota for $15-20K

Ok, the price is nothing, you all know the new LC right. well the twin turbo diesel version costs ...

are you ready?????

hold on to your seat!!!!!!

$240,000bz or $120,000us!
Just for the same LC you buy there plus the new diesel motor. for 600+ft.lb.torque

So compared to that, this truck is the bomb!
And as for the Dual Transfercase thing, it is a dealer installed option, i'm not sure where i heard that but alot of people down here have those with dual transfercases (70 series, alot of troop carriers down here).

when i was in kuwait even the basic hilux toyota pickup was bad apples. i want one bad. they use them like america uses the f-150 white work trucks we always see. EVERYWHERE. and they leave em laying around in camel fields. in bangladesh they used 87 pickups as there military trucks. some only had 20,000 km on them. forgien toyotas rock!
