I like the old boxy look. It makes it look rugged. And as said, function before form.

NO, you can't... and if it were made here it would have some god awful Shivy motor in it that would actualy make it worth less...

That is flat out the best stock 4x4 on the planet, and if you don't agree it's because you've never wheeled one... I have and I love them.

It's kinda pointless to argue about better or not when we can't even get it here in the US so it means nothing to me.

I'm not so sure it can be registered in the US depending on what country you get it from.
You can't get used '90s Nissan Skylines imported from Japan, you can only get them through a specialty dealer that has upgraded the safety standard to that of the US and you pay a premium for that.

You can get a type of Visa for cars not sold here but those are only good a year or two and that can't be automatically renewed.

Thats to bad,for the time being we can get them 15 years old with no upgrades, although I can't se the japanese laws being that lax. If I could only save the 5-8k for the deposit, I would be driving a REAL HILUX now.

I've been droolin' over this baddass 'yota for almost a year...
Too bad they don't sell 'em in europe. :/
The engine ROCKS (save the common rail stuff, I don't like that!)
VERY easy to put 38s or 44s under there, IIRC there are real live axles, (8.8" and 9.5" IIRC) not the same axles as are under the 80 series and the 70 short series (73 I think) which had the hi-pinion 8".
The leaves in the rear, well, that small technical problem CAN be fixed easily.
They also messed up the looks. I liked the old style.

ooooo such a sweet rig... *drools*
