I dont need anything to match exactly. I just want it to be black and smooth. It is so frustrating that I did such a good job with the first paint, and it wasn't the same color as the cap.

Who sells VHT paint? Their website doesn't have a " where to buy " button!

I got mine from Checker Auto, but when I went back to the store they didn't carry it anymore. A quick search on google revealed this place at the top of the list:

http://www.caswellplating.com/vht/vht_spec.htm

I have never dealt with them before though. Just search "VHT Wheel Paint" on google and you'll get a bunch of hits...

Turns out that I can't do anything right!

I resanded it, reprimed it, and repainted it, and it came out good exept for some spots that I didn't sand good enough, and it was still bumpy.

I went and got some self etching primer to use on the other three and went at it again! This time I guess I put too much primer on the first coat, because it started cracking. I am going to try to fix that before i put paint on,

I suck at painting.

You'll get it man. Just go light and do several coats. Weather could be a factor as well (wind, temp, humidity). Hang in there!

I just did the first coat of paint, I hope a few more will somewhat cover up the cracks. I can't wait until I'm done though. I really wish I had a day off so I wouldn't be in such a rush to get them done, so I can drive it to work in the morning.

It does'nt matter now anyway Christian, thanks to seeing the vid with the jardine, I want to sell mine and find a manual SC'd runner lol.

Maybe since you LOVE modding your truck and you want an auto, and mine is stock and I want a standard, we could just swap! Then you get to go mod happy, and I can pretend I did all the work to that one!

EDIT: Put the third coat on and it started doing the same weird crap again (making little holes that wont fill in until it is heavy enough to run) so I am just goin to throw them in the house until the morning ( its gonna ge like 50 here tonight WHOA) and wait until the 7 day mark to put more coats on.
