Need input on Tires!!!!
I am completely done with SASing the front of my truck, now I just have to do the chevy rear springs and some odds and ends and then she is ready! although the next hurdle is Tires! I am so torn between bias/radial what brand, size etc. I wold like to buy new tires. by the way this truck will be daily drove short distances to work and back during the week and all MUD wheeled on the weekends. need some serious tires to get through the mud I play in. Mind you the truck is 4" SAS 3" body, 5.29s 22re, stock birfields... but I'm not real heavy on my right foot while wheeling, I take it easy. Basically I am looking at buying 36x12.50x15 TSL radials... anyone think I will be alright with just going with bias? how does it ride? wear fast? But I really want a 37" or 38" because of the size of lift it might look odd with 36" and 8" of lift... somebody please give me some input on tires!!!! thanks Ryan

bfg km2s; last forever for a m/t as far as wear, good sidewalls. general grabber red letter; they are okay. ive heard just as good as km2s, dont quite last as long. firestone destination m/ts; i really wana pick up a set of these as my next tires. nexus roadian m/ts; ran these on my tacoma, extremely good for the price. toyo m/t; also wana get a set of these, good tires. hope that helps. tsl's wear terribly if you drive them at all on the road. all the ones i listed do fairly well on road.

Yes but all the tires you listed only go up to a 35" and if they do make a bigger in the brands you listed its for a queer rim size and outrageous expensive. Im looking for a 37" for a 15 inch rim that kicks ass in mud but bearable on the road

If you're big on mud, you might check out the boggers or the mickey thompson baja claws. KM2s get clogged very easily from my experience with them.
General red labels will be be a disaster in mud, not a very aggressive tire.

For 15s there's not a lot of selection taller than 35s, besides TSLs or IROKs. The only other kind I can come up with at the moment are Ground Hawgs. You can get those in R15 up to 44s in bias, or 38s in radial. AND they kick ass in the mud.

A couple more options would be...
Baja MTZs(supposed to be one of the best mud tires you can buy, despite not looking like they would be).

Or Pitbull Rockers(which do look like they should be one of the best tires in the mud, despite whether or not they really are).

Think I may go with 37x12.50x15 Super swamper SSR's. theyre basically like a TSL radial with siping. and i can get them delivered to my house for 1500 even. Anybody have thoughts on the SSR's?
