Looking for Under-hood insulation?

The factory insulation basically denigrated off my hood, now the paint is starting to blister a little. Where can I find aftermarket insulation for under the hood?

Yea I took off the insulation a few weeks ago and its already a significant difference. Those two weeks are worse the five years I've had it!! I think it might have been the recent rain causing rapid change in temperature.

I would think about leaving the insulation off. I think one of the reasons the 3.0 is blowing head gaskets is excessive heat. The new 4.0 doesn't have insulation at the hood -- instead it has a plastic cover over the top of the engine, and the sides are open with lots of space. And yet, it's nice and quiet.

But if you insist on insulation:

If you want to replace it, go to the wrecking yards in Chula vista...or call this one....

I got a pretty good one I'll sell ya, don't know about shipping it though. I haven't had any problems without it, the Tacos don't even have any.
