i blew my 22r up this morning and have a 22re in the garage that came out of a great running truck... my question is how hard would it be to swap the intakes and put it in my truck. anybody ever done this? timing gave out and not quite sure of the extent of damage.... sucks wanted to go wheeling soon guess not now.

 

As long as the bolt pattern is the same on both intakes and the exhaust it will work. You will also need to swap the distributor because the 22R and 22RE distributors are diferent.
