Beaver Run
Had the runner out this weekend for her first run!!! The old girl did real well, could not have been happier with the way she performed. The next things on the list are going to be new coils (probably LC) then a locker in the rear. All in good time though. I know she is quite capable as she sits...Went just about everywhere the modded FJ's did, almost everywhere.
Take a gander, I'm sure I'll have more once the others get their photos up.

This one they removed a tree since last time so you have a line at it. I didn't even attempt it with the truck. The runner made it though!!!

The smoke is from the tires, she's not burning any oil.

This was a good day...so far this is my favorite picture!!!

More to come...

The lil lady did alright, she did better on the last run...Good help is hard to find.
I'm not marring her for her photo work...

I was down to about 26 IIRC on 33x12.50

Next time take it down to 10 psi or so.
It's obvious from the photos that you're not aired down at all.
It looks fun and appears that you had a great time, however I can tell you that you're "on the road to ruin" with all the wheel spin and bouncing over rocks. That's about the fastest way there is to pop an axle or CV.
If you air down, you'll most like be able to crawl up that little ledge without resorting to using wheel spin to get over it

Anyway, looks like you had a blast.
Just remember that there is a direct connection between your right foot and your wallet

Ok I'll take them down further...I usually run them at 35 or so...Now I know and knowing is half the battle.
I do try to stay off the skinny as much as possible and try not to hit all that hard. I really don't want to have to be towed out. I hit that rock a few times and got a bit further each time. The last time I just let her hell and was not letting up. I'll be sure to take them down more next run. Thanks for the info...The more I learn the less it hurts.
O by the way I'm open on both ends as well. I really need to get the rear locked. Hopefully by spring I'll have one.

I was thinking I'd take it to about 15 on the next run. I hop to have air by that time but who knows, I have a ton to do to the house. If I don't keep on the house I can't play.
O well such is life...
Thanks man I like her, she has a bit of cancer that I have to tend to soon. She is really coming apart in places. Time to brake out the bondo, tiger hair, and duct work...
I took off some of the shiny stuff on the trail as it pulled away, didn't need it anyway just added weight. Gotta pull the other side bumper off as well, the tire grabbed one in the yard as I was testing the flex and tuck. I have the pic posted here somewhere
She took 4 of us with out an issue and that's including trail tools and a cooler. All that on a saggy butt.
The old girl did good.

Don't be afraid to air them down.
You wont believe the extra traction that supplies.
Depends some on the type of tire also, but, regardless, take 'em down.
For 33's like I said, try 10 psi.
A CO2 setup is great for "onboard air" btw.
Lastly, register the tire to the wheel and you'll be
able to tell if you've moved the tire on the wheel any.

Alright, thanks guys!!! I think the next run I'll be able to make will not be till Oct. But I'll definitely take them down much lower than what I had them. I think my father has an old CO2 tank sitting around from when he used to use a keg. I'll have to check with him.
