I’ve only ever used toyota red coolant. But a couple years ago we left the states driving south, and there have been a few cuontries where even the dealerships don’t carry toyota brand coolant. But I was always able to find something I felt good about using, like Aisin brand or something similar that specifically is made for toyotas. But we’re in Colombia now and I can’t find anything that I know anything about.

Does anybody know anything about these brands of coolant? :

The toyota dealers here only have one called: Quick Coolant extended life. Doesn’t say anything about where it’s made or if it’s HOAT or anything. It does have a sticker that says it’s nitrite free. That’s it though. I assume it’s fine since that’s all the toyota dealers have, but they don’t have ven know about toyota brand coolant.

Then a toyota mechanic here only uses and sells Wolf brand coolant. It’s made in Europe, and that’s all the info it has. I’ve used synthetic oil from the same brand since it was the best synthetic option I found in Panama.

Yet another toyota mechanic only has and sells ac declo coolant, which I don’t r ally feel comfortable putting in my engine. He however says it’s great and is a toyota and 4x4 specialist.

I know that a lot of brands are really the same coolant just with different branding, like the toyota red is supposedly aisin just in a different bottle. But I can’t find any info on the ones here. Does anybody know anything about these? Or have any thoughts? Thanks a bunch.

Fyi. I have an 88 pickup, with a 3.4 v6 swapped in from a 2000 4Runner, and a custom all aluminum radiator.
