same principle as the deck plate mod. I'm trying to figure out how important it is that the top rim has that funnel shape. Or if I could just weld a flange on a piece of aluminum pipe so that I could screw a deck plate onto the top that way I could close it off if I wanted to. I don't know maybe I'm missing the whole point of this mod. But the put there 3rd gen 4runner on the dump and got a 8 up gain and 8 ft pounds of tourqe.

i have first hand experience ITB's and velocity stacks. they work well on high compression, big cammed, high rpm engines...not for wheelin.
