Heavy Duty Truck Shell Screens?

I've got a leer truck shell with the sliding side windows on my Tacoma truck and was wondering what you guys with dogs do to replace the wimpy screens on your shells?

I'm worried my dogs will get out their kennels and break throught the screen while I'm driving.
Thanks
Bill

I also have this problem in the winter is not a problem but when its 90 degrees my black cap gets real hot and no air movement I've been trying to think of ways to make it more sturdy they already tore one side screen out so I haven't had them in there since, until I can figure something out
