Smile Good exhaust shop by denver?

Hi,

I am kinda new to the Denver area and have been wanting a new exhaust. I was planing on ordering a muffler and just clamping it on but I think it would be better welded. Than I thought it would just be better for a shop to do the whole thing.

Before looking in a phone book, I thought I would ask you all

Any good shops with really good prices and good work?

I have been looking at magnaflow mufflers.

Thanks

Dude, there is a lil mom n' pop shop off of Colfax and Fenton I believe (In between Colfax & 14th). They also do great alignments for very reasonable prices. I can't friggin think of their name though! But, since you live in that area, drive around there. They are on the east side of the street. If you went to Pierce st, you went to far.

I think you are talking about Lakewood Alignment, they do a great job with aligning but not sure if they do exhaust.

Hmm...no, that name doesn't sound familiar. It was like the owner's name or sumthin. Lakewood alignment is off of Wadsworth isn't it? Now that I think of it, there is a small exhause shop that's on like 12th and Wadsworth as well. Looks like they do good work there.

I had a really good experience with Hank at Hanksville Hot Rods, just off south Santa Fe, near the Chatfield res. He helped me out with finishing up the exhaust on my 3.4 conversion, and his prices seemed pretty reasonable.

For you guys that went to these shops, would you recommend bringing in my own muffler or buying one from the shop?

Just saw this thread. I second Hanksville Hot Rods. Hank's a friend of mine and a good guy to deal with.

I think the shop Djlarroc was talking about is Elroy's Brakes and Alignment. That is one of about three shops in all of Denver that my dad trusts to work on his cars, and that trust is well placed. Great guys over there. Don't think they do exhaust though.

I've used Lakewood Brake and Muffler a few times, they do good work. Ask for Adam, he's the best guy there. 10th and Wadsworth.
