Gauge Selection

I am looking at what gauges to put in my truck when I get it in the spring and want some input. I already know I am going to get a 3 pod apillar mount and run trans temp, oil psi, and air pressure. I plan to get a scangauge II down the road so wont need two voltmeters.

I really like the look of the Auto-Meter Ultra-Lite Gauges... but I have been looking at some ISSPRO ones. The thing about ISSPRO is I can get 270 degree sweep gauges, where as the Auto-Meter are only 90 degree.

For those of you that have gauges what do you have and how do you like it? Maybe I am being too anal, but I would think that the info on a 270 degree sweep would be more informative than a 90 degree....

Then there is also the digital option, and I wouldnt have to worry about sweep.. but the Tacoma dash inst digital, not sure how they would mix... The other advantage to digital is the trans can be 0-400 vs 100-250.. I am not worried about the high temp as those are fatal temps, but low temps are nice to know on warmup....

Any input is appreciated...

ISSPRO has a trans temp one, just no photo of it

Mech

Mech - run braided steel line. Trust me on this. Or you will be doing it over.

Trans Temp

Mech - bourdon gas tube.

If you want trans temp in elec full sweep - SportComp II series
($$)

Looks alot like SportComp so the guages "match"

I cant find room for the air tanks, so I installed the OBA w/out them. So I am only putting 2 gauges in, trans temp and oil psi.

I am not interested in running mech gauges...

I decieded to go with the ISSPRO EV gauges, a bit of $$, but probably some of the most accurate on the market, and 270* sweep with elec senders.

I got a red needle,but same gauge

and

this is the oil version, but they dont have an online photo of the trans
