For the past few weeks the drivers door has been hard to open from the outside. A couple of days ago it quit opening at all. Working 12-14 hour days the past 2 months, I haven't had time to check the mechanism inside of the door.

When I can get the time, What do I look for? Is is possible to adjust it? Or do I need to visit a local boneyard for parts?

 

That happened to me once and the rod inside just got disconnected, so carefully pull off your door panel and look up inside and see if you can see anything disconnected.

 

Or if the rod has a bend(s) in it, then it might have just been straightened too much to actuate the mechanism. I had to rebend the inside handle rod so that it would open the door again. Did it once over a year ago and it's been fine since then.

 

The eye on the end of one of my rods broke. I havent gotten around to fixing it yet.

 

It broke! Time to go to the boneyard for a new handle.
