Connecticut bumper height/lift laws.
#1
If anybody is from Connecticut, can you tell me where I can find out what the laws are concerning lifted vehicles. State or local police? Is it different for different makes of vehicles?
They can't be that strict. On my way to work I see an older 4X4 Chevy truck that has to be lifted anywhere from 8 inches to 1 foot. It also looks like he is running 35's or 38's on it. I should ask the driver but I never see him.
It's parked on the street (and he does drive it) so it's not like the cops don't see the thing (kinda hard to miss).
Thanks...

I lived in CT for about 6 years and I never had any issue with police there concerning bumper height. However if you are that curious, you could always pick a day when you have absolutely nothing to do and call the DMV...
