Blind spot mirrors?

Just got a set of these and I wondered did I mount them right?

I have the 2" round ones, I mounted them on the outside edge of the mirror, furthest from the door. I dunno, they seem to be fine-but would swapping them to the inner edge (closest to the door) be better?

I mounted mine in the same place you did.

NO, if you mounted them further in all you would see is more of your own truck and less of the next lane.

I like them on the outside for ground viewing and such but u should be able to see everything no matter what. To be so inexpensive u would think everyone would have them, they just might save u a wreck.

ya you are right. I think they are great. When I drive other cars and trucks, I'm lost without them, I got very use to them in my rig. and as far as price, I think I paid like 5 bucks for a set of 2", and the even ajust if I need to.

Thats what I figured, I taped them to the mirror in both spots to check and felt they worked the best on the outside.

Maybe I shoulda gone with the little mini mirrors vs the round convex ones b/c they distort everything.

I got some of THESE years ago, mounted the close to the door on the mirror, and they are still kicking, about 4 years later.

Sorry to bring it back-but this picture of a video leads to me believe I got mine mounted wrong now...

Mine are mounted directly opposite this picture-at the outer edge of the mirror.

i have mine mounted on the inside-low. i like em better there for my truck, though i have found that the mirrors dont rotate down far enough, as i use them to park on my driveway. (long story, ill explain more when i go to mod the mirrors)

i dont have the round ones but some rectangular ones (maybe 1.5 x 2 inches)

ill get some pics later

i cant drive a car on the freeway with out them! if i didnt have them i would have been in an accident by now.

Thanks for the advice For reference mine are mounted at the furthest edge away from the door onthe bottom of the mirror.

I am sorry to keep asking, but this is driving me nuts..nowhere can I find directions either-not even google! They are the little round convex ones. I mounted them at the lower outside edge of the side mirror(away from the door)-but I dont think I mounted them right as although they are working I think they could be better.

A) Do you mount them on the outer edge of the mirror (furthest from the door) on the upper or lower half of the mirror? I mounted mine to the lower part of said mirror.

B) Do you mount them on the inner edge (closest to the door) on the upper or lower half of the mirror?

I mounted mine in the bottom close to the door. That way I can see more the person coming in the rear quarter without having to turn my shoulder and look. It's especially helpful when your side windows on an SUV are frosted up. The only problem I have is the fine mist either from rain or morning dew that covers the little mirror.

mine are bottom corner away from door, thats the best place for them, mine are the adjustable ones so they are also angle down and in slightly so i can see all of both tires.

Ditto mine, bottom corner, furthest from door. Stayed on the Bronco II for 13 years so far, I need to get them on the 4runner too.

i just got a pair a week or two ago, but haven't put them on yet. as for highways, I always turn my head, but more than once I've changed lanes after checking multiple times and still didn't see someone. small cars and bikers are hard to see. hopefully the new mirrors fix that. it gets on my nerves when people drive in my blind spots. when I learned to drive there was always emphasis on not driving in peoples blind spots

On the driver side, mine is on the top left part of the side mirror. On the pass. side, it is mounted on the top right part of the mirror. Granted, they are pretty useless at night, but they are a godsend during the daytime driving and reverse parking.
