I have a 93 DLX 4x4 pickup, and it has chrome on the front and back bumpers, grille, and windshield trim. I'm tired of chrome, and I want everything on my truck to be black. So, have any of you guys ever dealt with black chrome? If so, how much does it cost, what websites should I go to, and what shops would do this(southern Cali)? Or, has anyone used spray paint to achieve this look? Also, does anyone make black chrome diamond plate material?

You will have to figure out a new paint tho, as the 1813 and 1814 paints have been discontinued.

Thanks for the paint info, but what I'm really interested in is to send my chrome parts into a shop and have them professionally plate them with black chrome. Also what's the difference between black pearl and black chrome?

first you have to help yourself before others will help you

a 2 second search in google will give you plenty of answers, seems as if there are even several chrome plating (yes they can do black chrome) places in so.cal so happy reading

i also plan on doing this, but have you researched into getting FACTORY dark grey bumpers? i am looking into it, i really like the look. they still do it on Hilux Surf's up to the 4th gen.
